This is another attempt at editing a great sunset I was privileged to see a couple weeks back. I have been playing with white balance as the right one for the sky made the foreground look odd. Thus, I experimented with blending white balance a bit and also with brightening the shadows in the foreground to see the fall colors. Figured i would share. C&C welcome.
Testing my old manual glass on my new cam. I like it a lot, some keep on performing as i wish!
a7R Mark3 + Nikkor 105mm 2.5 ai-s edit C1.
Aperture at f4.
I must be out of the ordinary as I find this to be too saturated and un-realistic looking.
After a quick edit, it still looked like a spectacular sunset.
Less is, sometimes, more.

Hi Rich,
It was a sunset after Tropical Storm Nestor and was incredibly saturated. Frankly, I think the colors in the sky were more vibrant than are displayed here. I do understand your reaction, however. Here are two pics of me taking the sunset, from my wife's iphone in pano mode (with no editing beyond its internal processing) which may give an idea. I do appreciate the criticism.
