Ronny, your macro images are superb! Not only it is sharp where it counts, like the eyes and head ares but virtually the entire wing in the second image, for example, is sharp. You not only composed the image but you certainly paid attention and did an excellent job is lining up the wing perpendicular to the axis of your lens. Kudos to you!
The air was thin and the sun ray was intense even in the morning and it was officially winter there. The row of structures in the lower ⅔ are houses on floating islands of the indigenous Uros people. The river is flowing from the left into the lake. The river water is warm and that of the lake is icy cold. The difference is the water temperature resulted in the mist/vapor along the river until the temperature of the two got equalized
