When Manuel and I arrived at one of the favorite spots at Val d’Orcia on the first morning at crack of dawn, some 40+ or so photographers were there and ready to shoot already. We still got a spot but it was a fairly tight squeeze. And again, that was still at the crack of dawn. So, the following morning we left 30 minutes earlier and when we arrived at a the spot, granted apparently less popular than the one from the day before, we were the first and we were still the first two hours later.... . We saw glimpses or streaks of colorful orangey.sky but the morning turned out to be mostly cloudy but yet, very photogenic.
And the weather patterns changed fairly fast while we were there. The sky variety was something that I really enjoyed and of course, the landscape itself is exquisite. I also made a pano of the landscape, including the low laying cloud in its entirety but it was too wide for posting here...

Great shots.
Must be interesting waking up in those villas and finding 40 cameras pointing at you.
Looking down at and across the Lehigh Valley Zoo, the Preserve, and into the distance from the top of the Preserve,
Tripod mounted 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 GM set to 100mm and A7rIII, silent shutter.
ISO 200, f14,1/25 second,
Exposure corrected -0.24 Stops

From the top of the Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA.
The first trip I used the Loxia 35 a lot more and even though I used to prefer 50mm I am really liking the Loxia now. This really is a dual character lens which I didn't quite appreciate before. Also, thanks CV for helping bring the Loxia prices down

Thank you very much! True but thankfully, none of them used flash .

Here is another image captured a little later that morning, showing the yellowish/orangey sunrise colors in certain areas of the clouds. I used the PlayMemories Digital Filter App here (basically an ND filter), hence the -1.7 exposure compensation displayed in the exif.
Have deleted all my pictures from flickr.. almost everyone
My pictures will probably not be able to see as I linked from there and will soon disappear here from Fm
Let's see how I do in the future
maybe I'm start upload from flickr again or not .. haven't decided yet
Great shot everyone !
