Ronny how can you keep up this incredible portfolio of macro shots. Simply amazing.
Thanks Michael ! Really appreciated
A9 AF is quite a lot better than A7r III and A7r II
But the pictures don't leave as much details
However, I have tested AF on A7r III one time yet .. maybe after more testing, maybe I will learn it better

Very nice set, David!
Some more with A7RM2 and the adapted Nikon Coolscan LS-8000 scanner lens (approx. 100mm f2.6, APO-corrected for 55mm image circle).
All at roughly 1:1 magnification...
I have always admired your BW's. Now you are one of the few people that can capture these almost surreal colors and have them look so powerful and convincing.
Looking right after the sun had dropped below the far hill (but about 11 minutes before actual sunset).
Tripod mounted 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 GM set to 303mm and A7rIII camera, silent shutter.

Biographical background: A few houses from a neighborhood I lived in the year before, and while attending kindergarten. The "new" pale green house replaced the rental house we lived in for a couple years, before my parents bought my grandparents home, which I now own. (You can just see a corner of this pale green replacement house, looking down the driveway of the tan house.) Like salmon returning to the stream of their birth!
