This young woman was jumping at one of the outlooks of Machu Picchu while somebody in her family was taking a picture and I happened to see that. She did it once before but apparently the image was not to her liking and she asked for that person to take another picture of her. Since I was there, I snapped a picture of her, too. The security guard came over to her and insisted in her deleting all of the pictures of her jumping. Obviously she was disappointed.... and yes, I figured out a way to send this image to her later on .

Awesome shot, Joshua! Nice story too. I'm sure she was pleased and charmed at your chivalry.
Great daylight travel lens -- Sony 24-105G! You bring out its best.

Safe travels, my friend!
Thank you, Jim and thank you, Douglas @kdrk888! The funny thing is, the security guard didn't expect that another person (and a weird looking guy, I may add ) would and did actually take pictures of a complete stranger... . I didn't edit that picture using anything else than LR. Come to think of it, I may clone out certain things or crop the image later one when I get home that would make her look like she was really floating mid-air.... FYI, that was done near a structure with thatch roof and that's what visible in the upper right hand corner.

One of my first shots with the Batis 18
Really nice capture.
Perhaps for shots like that you could use a torch to light up those important things in the foreground a little.
Still I like it!
How do feel about the Batis 18mm?
Is it a winner for you or do you miss a wide angle zoom from time to time ( like a 16-35mm ) ?

Unfortunately, this was a sacred area, and we weren't allowed to flash lights. We had supervision while there, but I agree, some extra lighting would have been nice. I managed to get the ruins to show thanks to a spotlight from a nearby village giving off some light.
I think the Batis is a gem of a lens. My only gripe is how easily the LCD display scratches, but otherwise, it's a phenomenal pairing with my Sony 24-105 for backpacking. I don't really like super wide, so the Batis fills the niche for me I like the 18mm FL.
