I noticed that the Voigtlander 65mm Macro Apo Lanthar is still alive and deservedly so, I would add. Here is a leftover image from my last trip to Yosemite taken with that lens and it is not only for macro...
Just back from Scotland.
In terms of weather I had an interesting mix of rain (often), storm (very often), hailstorm (often) and sun (very rarely).
For this one I was using the Zeiss Loxia 21mm 2.8, my landscape workhorse lens.
But I was also using new stuff for upcoming reviews at phillipreeve.net.
I got up early after looking out the window and saw snow on the ground outside our hotel in Santa Fe. I spent a few hours shooting around the plaza. It was quite windy which wasn't ideal for shooting so early in the morning. As a result, some of the lights and foliage moved. I couldn't decide if I prefer the color or black and white version so I'll share both.
Hahah, I took some vertical pictures of the suspended nymphs(?) in that alley in Chinatown the other afternoon! Your horizontal framing is vastly superior. Great shot.
Yes, this was in Chinatown -- great location. shot at 105 with a 24-105

Hi rioni... alley is a great shot. Just curious, what focal length? No exif on Flickr.

A shot of the Super "Worm" Moon rising above Talcott Mountain and the Heublein Tower in Simsbury, Connecticut. I just purchased the 2x teleconverter and wanted to give it a spin. I've had the 1.4x teleconverter since buying the FE 100-400 GM and I have to say these telecoinverters work great with the GM lens.
