Sony FE50 1.4 ZA. A group of us were at brunch - we tend to take more photos of the food than anything else (I do a lot of culinary events with well known chefs but still carry my a7r iii to all meals). Since I just got the lens I was playing around with it to see how it performed. I must say, I'm loving it. Not a food photo - a photo of someone taking a food photo

Wonderful shot, Joshua.
How did you get the great lighting on the frog?

Thank you very much, Kim!
Simple, it was available light. The setting was in the rainforest during a cloudy afternoon. Please note the catchlight of filtered light through some openings of the RF canopy on the frog’s eye. I used a tripod to minimize any movement on the frog’s side and mine although the shutterspeed for that aperture at ISO 3200 was pretty high.

Morning on the lake. It was only 5F but somehow, it feels warmer and nudging to spring. However, not before another snowstorm hits us Saturday!
Bob -- You know I'm enjoying your Loxia 35 shots! Great color and contrast. Congrats on the re-purchase.
Mission Concepcion during sunrise. I tried something new in regards to composition. I filled about half the frame with this large agave plant and used it to frame the mission. Hopefully it works.
