Ronny: Another one from Iceland for the gallery.
Robert: Welcome back. Stunning sunrise shot. I hope you are coping with the snow.
Joshua: Beautiful portrait of a beautiful lady. The pelicans, who unlike her won't win any beauty contests, are closer to my type of photography, though .
Jim: Nice combination of sunshine, vibrant autumn colors and sunstars. I like the Loxia's best. That oak is also pretty impressive.
Hiep: Very nice macro. Please excuse my ignornance, but are these car parts?
Seems like we may have just missed you.
We were at Bosque late 11/23 to early 11/25.

Thanks Hiep!
We loved your state!
Bosque was super fun but we hit many many spots in NM and really enjoyed them all.
Just a matter of time before we return.

This bird struggled to find a way to eat the snake. He would drop it, pick it up move it around in its beak and still made no progress, other than tying the snake in knots. When I had to leave, it still did not find a way
The bird was back-lit in harsh light, but I feel like the huge DR of the Sony sensors saved it pretty well.

Would you recommend the CV 110 Macro APO Lanthar? If so,why?
Yes, Though it's largely a personal preference, briefly:
Because I want a macro in that FL range (to replace the Zeiss 100 Makro Planar, and I didn't quite bond with the more "clinical" rendering of the excellent Sony 90 Macro) , it performs much like the 65 APO that I love, and I like the mechanical operation of the lens.
I’m only scratching the surface of the lens, and I could change my mind, but it's not looking that way.
Plus, as a bonus, we get great heritage of the lens from the legendary 125 APO.
