Where was this dinner scene taken? It appears most of the food is birds. I see at least one pheasant. It's kind of what I would expect around Harrison Mills in BC, Canada. The mass eagle gatherings near Squamish generally saw fish as the main attraction.
This is taken from a place in Southern Sweden, may be that those who own the land where the hiding is are hunting pheasants and other birds and then putting them out as food
Chris, I truly appreciate your kind words. Well, we don't trek for hours in the jungle and if it is coming down to it, then I would minimize the gear and take my 100-400mm GM lens plus TCs. That zoom lens is truly an amazing performer. Too bad, there is no sherpa there that I know of.
That's a superb image of the waterfall, Chris!
Bob, great images and I am glad that you feel the same way. It is truly a remarkable lens, isn't it? Please post more images taken with that lens.
Thank you, Ronny! Your eagle images are something to behold!
Jim, thank you very much! That's one sweet pano of your neighborhood there - well done!

Joshua -- This is such a lovely portrait of Sabrina! Enchanting Audrey Hepburn-like expression.
That must be a vintage/antique dress, yes? Is it owned by the model, or do you use a source for the clothing in your period shoots?
I paid a visit to the cemetery in Aberdeen, Washington, where my mom and her parents are buried. I'm not too sentimental about such things, but on a damp Autumn morning with a break in the clouds, it was surprisingly touching. The Rutledge grandparents are the ones who originally owned the house there in Aberdeen that I mostly lived in after my parents purchased from them, then my wife and I purchased the house out of foreclosure after selling when my mom passed away. Nice to own this piece of my personal history.
My dad is buried about 10 miles away in Montesano with his Harris family. I'll have to make a future trip up to visit.
Thanks for letting me indulge my love of the area in so many photos posted in the last few years!

You live in a fascinating world, my friend!
Jim, thank you very much! At certain angles of view, Sabrina does look like her idol, indeed. It is a vintage dress provided by "Vintage Heaven" and the session took place at a local antique store.
Poignant and yet lovely images of the cemetery, Jim!

I bought a long lens in Nov and as a part of the exercise I went to places, trying to photograph Mandarin ducks, among others. I posted a few but here are Mr and Mrs MD for you. Here is the fine print: the female duck is actually slightly behind the focusing plane of that male MD but what the heck...

Jim, these sure have a lot of meaning to you. I am one of the few of people of Asian origin who like to photograph cemeteries, . It's kind of a taboo to them. I took pictures of the Arlington National Cemetery many times and took a trip to Normandy in France just to take pictures of the American Cemetery above the Omaha Beach.
