this thread is slowing down, I am wondering why?
It happens sometimes, I was wondering it as well few weeks ago, was few days away and there were 3-4 new pages. Seems that in some weeks there is very little amount posts between Mon-Thu, and on some other weeks there is lots of posts during those days.

Nejma did not suffer the typical surgery when she was a puppy: ear cropping and tail docking. After 3 years of life has been like mom made it and, being purebred, some "dog lovers" were offended by her integrity and character pacifist (she loves even the cat). When she runs, as only a dog with those characteristics can do, likes to do stunts and remarkable speed. The result? The ears are reversed like a glove, I find it really funny and bizarre. Complicated with manual focus, I tried it with a 500mm f8 RF Minolta MD
Arh .. Phillip you're killing me. I wasn't even thinking about a 300mm L but now I want one. You've already bumped the Tokina 90 to almost the top of my wish list. Oh well .....
I find this thread moves fast, too fast sometimes as there are so many shots I want to comment on but by the time I find the time there are too many new ones. Can I go with the standard good job everyone?
Here's a couple more. The first is with a Konica - the 57mm 1.4 (I think was swapping alot that day) The second is with a Bronica 80mm 2.8. Thanks to every one that has liked my previous posts as well.
Very nice images...especially on this page. Phillip, those sun shots are awesome! Its funny, I was never a fan of the 35 or 40 Nokton on the M9, but I love it on the A7. Maybe its me getting used to it, or maybe I had bad copies in the past, but I love the flaws of this lens.

Interesting results with the 500mm Minolta. A local shop has the 250mm Minolta mirror lens for sale and I have been ignoring it on the grounds of cost but I think that might be a mistake!
PS
Interesting about the ears also, our Border Collie (or mostly Border Collie) only ever inverts one ear at a time!

hi Peter, thanks.
250mm is more rare and absolutely interesting lens (short!), renowed for it's unique bokeh. Buy it!
one day , please send a pic of your dog :-)
ciao
Photo of dog as requested although possibly not quite what you had in mind. Very much an "extra" in this shot, it may take a while to find her! Strangely I don't seem to have taken many shots of her with the A7r so far. This was with the C/Y Distagon 28mm f2.8

Walking around Liege on Sunday morning with a few shots over looking the massive Sunday market which is about 2km long and several rows wide in places.

Got some email questions why I use polarizer on almost all photos. It's because on nature photos polarizer can be used to remove glare reflected from leaves etc. It's most effective when shooting backlight (then also glare from light source in addition to sky glare can be removed/minimized and colors become much deeper. On side light and front light I use polarizer mainly to remove sky glare (also makes colors more pure on non-reflective materials, which don't have obvious bright glare), which makes white balance less blue/cold.
