Old lens-severe crop. This shot was taken to satisfy my curiosity about the the IQ of the 50-60 year old Minolta MA 25-70 F/4 Macro on the new A7Riii with really severe cropping, aprox 12% of total image area. This lens was my favorite lens on the Nex 5 years ago. Of course Lightroom has also improved over the years but I think this illustrates that you can get a lot out of relatively low cost lenses.

Another infrared from my recent visit to Shiojiri Japanese Garden, Mishawaka, Indiana. A7R (converted to 850nm), 12-24/4 at 12mm.

I like this one, don't know if it's just the difference in conversions or the camera but my 720nm fuji never seems as crisp as this
Thanks - you'll get a bit richer and more intense IR "look" at 850nm, but it shouldn't be a huge difference from 720. My IR images have quite a bit of work done to them in PS, so that may account for a larger difference, depending on how you are processing yours.
Enjoying my new small A6000 so much I bought a couple of lenses. The kit lenses were OK, but have some noticeable shortcomings. I picked up a used Sony 18-105 f4 G, and a Sigma 30mm f1.4. Both much better than the kit glass. These are my first shots with the lenses. Went with some friends to a casual classic car meetup in the nice little beach town of Encinitas. Hope you enjoy the shots.
That is a special 35-70 image, Dustin, it shows the very unusual color palette, subtle skies and that hard to reproduce highland grass color. The 35-70 does that better than any lens I've ever used.

CY 21/2.8 - this one.
Thank you! I had two copies of this lens at one time, and tested both of them. This one is sharper than the other one, and the other one was super sharp as well. I think I had a filter on for this image. I am jealous of your C/Y 21mm
