Some fun shots with the old Leica 40mm f2 Summicron-C on my A7rII, all wide open. I picked up a helicoid adapter to increase minimum focus distance, and it works very well with this lens:

Stephen -- Nice run through some of your lenses with the waterfalls. Great shots and great demonstration of their use!

And a few other acknowledgements amongst all the tremendous contributions here:
Ronny -- Amazing versatility! You just can't be stopped with your mastery of so many subjects -- flies to falls, glaciers to girls!
Joshua -- Like Ronny, you cover so much ground, so well! Travel, natures, portraits -- basically, you guys (like Fred and a few others) are making the best of all genres.
Alfredo -- I'm always stunned by the clarity of your work. So crisp and wonderful to view all the small details.
Jennie and Dale -- You are both able to come up with great work, mining the same material. Impressive to see the results you both got from the Tuscan trip!
Werner -- Always so lyrical in your work, from your soft landscapes to your bold architectural vignettes.
And thanks those others on this page: Kierzkow, toshio, BokehBeauty, Rene, and to all for the terrific work posted recently.

Thank you, Jim! I see that you adapted various exotic alternative lenses to enhance your lens lineup. The images you generated with them are beautiful!

I took a few images of a blooming hortensia bush in my backyard using the Sigma 135mm yesterday and edited in my portrait setting. I wonder how the new Sigma 105mm f/14 Art will stack up against this longer and a tad older brother here. Here is one of the images...
Joshua, Webmastrk9, Puckman, Lostinjapan, thank you all! I really appreciate your comments and encouragement, especially Joshua and Werner who encouraged me to bring the 100-400 lens to Patagonia. I am so impressed with this lens so far of its optical quality, sharpness, and smooth operation. I would have regretted it if I did not have it with my Patagonia trip to shoot guanaco, flamingo, and close up shots. And yes, I will look into printing this photo on metal.
Thanks again.
