Great work from all the usual suspects. A few more B&W, basically SOOC, did some small tweaks to them since the camera still can't quite read my mind. This time with the lowly Sony Zeiss 24-70/4.
1st shot taken at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich. Second shot is from the Old Royal Naval College looking toward the Royal Observatory site of the Greenwich meridian line. A7RII with FE 24-70 GM
A few shot with the Sigma 400 APO Tele Macro. Autofocus had a terrible hit rate - around 25-30%, but it was hand held, braced on a window sill (and I could see the frame move with my heartbeat) - so, no so many keepers. These aren't great, but among the most usable.
Put out some bread and peanut butter. Waited for the critters.
Birds had a time of it before the squirrels came and nabbed the lot of it.
That bird on a wire looks great, nice toning on these, what are you using for editing?
AF-S or AF-C? I always had a better hit rate with AF-C. Don't know which mode though...

Thanks. I use AF-S. Didn't think AF-C worked (thought I read that), but will definitely check it out.
I normally use a combo of DXO and LR for editing.
Interestingly, the bird on the wire looks the worst at 100%, but decent downscaled.
F.I.S.H sculpture by Philadelphia artist Donald Lipski. The 7' long fish, replicas of the native long-eared sunfish, are lit from within at night, with about 1000 l.e.d. lights in each fish. I have been wanting to shoot these fish for some time now but never had the chance when they light up at night.
By the way, this is the same spot you can watch countless bats take off from under the I-35 bridge in SATX. Pretty cool sight to see too!
These images are from an early morning walk around Dingle Bay in Ireland. The stillness of the water really added the reflections and colors of the clouds.
