Adapting the EOS 24-70/4 to the A7Rii. Seems like we're always on the move and this lens has decent macro abilities which saves my back and pack space.

I was out the other day with only Zeissy lenses in my bag, and I wanted something smooth. I have had the Contax G 90 2.8 for a few months now, but I hadn't thought of it as a bokeh lens, only as a really contrasty/aggressive lens. But it seemed the best I had with me for what I wanted to try, wide open, and it did not disappoint. F 2.8 A7Rii
Sebboh, yes, it has wild bokeh. Unlike the Biotar or early Helios versions, though, I see it less as a swirly mess than a stack of onion-like discs. That is wide open. By even f/2, its background goes to more of a Gaussian blur. By f/4 or certainly f/5.6, it has fairly detailed bokeh. It is almost like shooting three or four different lenses from wide open to middle apertures.

@f/2 - granted sky is flat, but blurred flowers are still fairly tame: Contrasts by Jim, on Flickr
Again enjoying the EOS 24-70/4 with the Sony, the fact that it can do pseudo macro and save one lens from the pack is a plus especially on a trip to the desert American southwest where I really don't expect many macro opportunities.
