Another one from Gokyo, Khumbu (Everest) region of Nepal. This one looking back on the trek to Renjo La pass. The snow covered mountains from the left are : Everest, Lhotse (just 332m shorter than Everest), Lhotse Shar, Cholatse & Taboche. The Ngazomba glacier is below, right above the village.

Wide open aperture to get low ISO during blue hour but without tripod...
Gorgeous, rich, fantastical shot, Joshua. I really like what you are doing lately with subtlety and beauty of colors. The Venice pics are very rich, and the Lapland shots (e.g., the trees shot and the bridge shot, are very soft and subtle. Quite beautiful and technically masterful.
Superb last couple pages. Phillip and Nehemiah and Derek...love the series of 100mm grabs!! Really awesome!
Joshua...thank you concerning the Nikon 28. It's a fun little lens. Love the grab above!
Bob...I think that one above is my fav with the Russian lens! Really cool!
Gregg
A7rll and FE 50 1.4 ZA in crop mode for closer mfd
And since I have my buddies GM 85, I did a little quick comparison. Nothing scientific, but just to see how similar they really are concerning rendering.
What do you guys think?

Wow, the FE 50mm f/1.4 is simply an amazing lens, isn't it? The 3-D effect of the water drop images is unreal. The rendition of that lens and that of the GM 85 are similar to each other but the 50mm images are a little punchier or contrastier. I love both lenses but Bob is right, the bulk and weight of both are a little bit too unwieldy. Well, no pain, no gain .

Really impressed by the rendition of this lens... some weeks ago, after several post from you, I considered to purchase because it was a very good deal with an used item but someone else has anticipated me BTW thanks to feed my GAS with those wonderful captures
