We went to London for one week and I tried a very alternative lens setup (at least for my standards): Minolta AF 20mm f2.8, Minolta MD 35mm f2.8, Leica Super-Colorplan-P 90mm f2.5, Leica Elmarit-P 150mm f2.8, plus a set of hand-cut aperture masks to put in front of the Leicas as they are projection lenses and offer only very 'basic' functionality...
I've ended up using the projection lenses most of the time as it is a lot of fun to use them.
Here are some shots from that trip, the first two are with the Elmarit-P 150mm stopped down to approx. f11, the other two are with the Super-Colorplan-P 90mm stopped down to approx. f5.6.
^^^ Nice captures Olaf! Interesting and curious use of projection lenses
At Yosemite it happens you have to stop the car suddenly (kind of emergency stop... stop-stop-stop!!!) because a wonderful ray of sun lights El Capitan
#2 has been taken 13 seconds later and the effect was almost gone... very, very fast... camera was equipped with FE 55 and set to 200 ISO, there was no time to do anything but take pictures.
A7r + Canon 16-35/4 Lee little stopper
Taken during a dull and tedious night shoot workshop in a very busy part of town. 3 hrs and we shot everything within 100yds of this shot
This is a black and white rendering of the same photo published earlier. I think I like it better in B&W. It is a sculpture of a "Great Depression" soup line. The artist is the third man in line.
Really nice Bob! I like the second one best by default. I think I would have liked the framing best if there had been a 28mm version, or a crop on the 21mm to pull the symmetry out -- that's what I like about #2.
Did my first Urbex type shooting today...what a lot of fun it was too...textures everywhere, I shot so much this morning in three short hours. Can't wait to go back.

Thanks Jim. I might try cropping the 21 a bit but otherwise, I'll try a 28mm another morning!
Wow!!! Stayed away for a few days, and needed hours to catch up!
Congrats to Fred, Samuli, Joshua, Werner, Bob, John, Jack, Mike, Ronny, Gregg, Dale, and I am sure I am forgetting many deserving 'togs. Apologies!
On my end, went down to Provence, and, among other things, pulled out my Touit 12mm,which I hadn't used ina couple of years. Works just fine on my FF A7RII, just, in crop mode, so I am down to M9 resolution...:-)
