Thank you Joshua. Lapland, what an unusual travel location! Swedish or Finnish Lapland? Even though I'm from the north of Sweden (east coast) I haven't seen very much of Lapland. Hope you'll have a great time with nice winter weather. Looking forward to see photos.

Thank you, Helena! Finnish Lapland or Kakslauttanen to be exact. This will be my first visit to Finland although I have been twice to Norway.

Reason I ask is I currently own the FE 35 2.8 and VM 35 1.4 and hoping to replace both with the 1.7.
Phillip said the field curvature is a real issue when it is focused to about 1.5-4m and when the aperture is at f/1.7 or close, and that worries me because that's closeup -> environmental/indoor lowlight portrait distance, and I can see myself using it quite a bit there.....so if that's the affected zone then it's probably no use for me.....
There might be a solution here: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1453834?b=2 But so far no one has done more serious testing with the CV and those lenses. I will send mine to my co-author Bastian next week, who will test it with his filter collection.
Kalpachev, I've not seen many shots with the Laowa 105mm. Very cool.
I have been meaning to get a shot of my lenses for some time now. This may be of interest to some. Not pictured here is my Canon 70-200L II f2.8 lens. I merged two different images here. I took one frame with the Loxia 85. Then another with the FE 55. That way I could get all my primes in one shot. I included the descriptions on the bottom for clarity.
I ordered them from widest to narrowest. Lens hoods were left on. The Tokina macro lens has the CY-E mount adapter on. It's amazing to me how compact the Loxia 21 is and still a high performing lens. You can see how much taller the Loxia 85 is by comparison with the lens hood on. With the lens hood reversed, it's as tall as the Loxia 21 with its hood on.

Thanks!
I am using the Loxia 50/2 "hood' on the Loxia 85 and found it does a great job while keeping the size much smaller. (Just a little taller than your FE 55/1.8 with hood)
A few snaps from a walk around the Salk Institute yesterday. I wasn't aware of the renovation work being done, so I plan on revisiting in a few months.

Thanks Alfredo, Laowa 12 is not that beast I expected to be for a 12mm 2.8 aperture... seems reasonably compact
BTW great set
