At the top of Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA
I decided to skip the crowd of photographers at the bridge spanning the Virgin River getting that classic albeit iconic shot of the Watchman rock formation at sunset. Instead I went up the hillside behind the museum and took this shot. This was actually 5-10 minutes after the sun set. The clouds started coming in fast and the last light of the day lit them up along with the face of the Watchman for one last minute.
As with all the preceding shots from this second outing to Universal, the lens used is the Canon EF 24/2.8 IS, hand held.
The palm trees with lights shows the strong coma with the lens wide open. Coma diminishes at smaller f/stops, but this is not a candidate for astro! No lens profile used, only CA correction turned on in LR.
