Lovely portrait Joshua. Difficult to follow your magic touch
I just want to post a photo taken with my newest lens (and probably my last purchase for a loooong time), the Zeiss 85/4 Tele-Tessar ZM. I plan to use this for landscapes due to its size and excellent edge-to-edge performance. But I also took it out for a spin when walking to town with my wife the other day, and I have to say that the lens has quite pronounced 3d-effect.
OleAndre -- Terrific shot. The lens is amazing and your wife a lovely model.
Peire -- Wow! You always provide such great collections of images from beautiful surroundings.

Here's one more twilight shot variation from the other night.
So far, I have reason to be optimistic about the Sigma MC-11 not producing internal reflections, at least from the few 24 TS-E II shots taken. I'm anxious to see results from the 17 TS-E, but hopeful.

Sweet! I see the larches are turning. Did you need a permit this late in the season? I was thinking of heading up and trying to do it in one day before the snow arrives. Last time I was there I was air lifted from snow lake because of a broken foot. Did you go up Icicle or Colchuck ? I need to get back before I get much older. Darn, I want to go so bad now !

Stunning!!!!! Absolutely stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I def. chose the wrong career path.
Thank you, Robert! Do you know that I am not a professional photographer, don't you? I would have starved, had I chosen that career . Since i have retired a few years back, I have been able to focus more on photography. I pay more attention to both the image capturing and also the image post processing ends but it is strictly a hobby... uh, more a passion for me. True, I have sold a few images but that's about it.
This is another image from the same series but taken with the new GM 70-200mm lens.

Beautiful work Joshua, question do you type in your camera settings or copy and past them
Thank you, Dan! Are you referring to the exif under the image title? If yes, I have the image upload service here on FM and you have the option to include the exif data and the water mark. In addition, you can select your frame from a number of choices. I just click on those things to turn the features on and I select the frame type from a pull down menu. It does everything automatically after that.
