dear Manuel. thank you very much for the very kind comment.
the same I think of many of the photographers here.
so many great photographers. and when I see the pictures,
I think. man, I have so much to learn.
I know that some folks, even people that I know personally, don't care about Las Vegas. It is such an amazing city in more than just one way and there is a lot to like about this city than or just gambling. I always bring my camera and actually do some photography, outside and inside the casinos. And over the years, the pace of development here is truly amazing, creating more objects to photograph .
Three more images from the Venetian. The Voigtlander 10mm lens portrays this "old" place from a different perspective. I really enjoy this lens, more so than I anticipated.

- Manuel, it may sound weird but the Voigtlander 10mm seems to be either more consistently well made/calibrated or with better quality control than the 15mm and that of the same manufacturer, mind you. So, I played the Voigtlander 10mm lottery gladly since I knew that there is a good chance of winning a respectable one. I know, we, as consumers, are not supposed to think that way since we are paying big bucks for the lenses but it seems that it is the fact of "photography" life lately.
The 10/5.6 seems perfect for Las Vegas.
Though I don't gamble, have visited that place a bit for business meetings.
Easy to get to, cheap but good hotel rooms, great food, interesting things to photograph.
Folks fly in from different parts of the country, have their meetings, and back they fly.
