Photo taken at 7:01 PM on August 12, 2015 of a Fawn and a Doe White Tail Deer, Big Meadows, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. The Fawn's eye is only partially open and when the image is sized larger than displayed, insects bothering the Deer are visible. Image taken with my tripod mounted Canon new FD 500mm f4.5 L lens and my A7r, ISO 200, lens set to f4.5 for 1/1250 second. Exposure corrected by +0.12 Stops and processed in LR6.
Damn, I have a lot of catching up to do here . . . wonderful images to review!
Here's a few more from a night down by the Mississippi River in Minneapolis on the day Prince died. The city is still mourning and celebrating him in his home town.

Here are 2 images from the Lower Antelope Canyon. The first one is straight up, inclining the blue sky. I consider this place a must visit for photographers; it is really one of the nature wonders in the world, at least to me .
Just FYI, the dynamic range/contrast at this location is enormous. I bracketed all images I took but towards underexposure.and the capability of the Sony sensor to lift up shadows without incurring much, if any, penalties comes in hand. That's why I could get the blue sky in some images.
Lens used is Canon 11-24mm f/3L with Metabones IV but in manual focus.

Joshua -- I regret I have but one like to give!
That second photo reminds me of surf shots of "shooting the curl". That lens seems an outstanding choice for the close confines.
