First three with the 21 Super-Elmar, last with the 35 FLE
While I was getting a second shot of the building from the 3rd photo (blue windows with two boarded up), I heard somebody calling to me - it was a large bald guy sitting with two fellows that looked like security, behind the gate to the left of the building. He remained sitting while the other two walked up to the gate, one on my left and one on my right. I asked the bald guy to repeat, and he said "Insurance photos?" I explained I was just an amateur photographer. "Oh, are you capturing 'irony' today?" . . .I kinda laughed but said no, just whatever is interesting. "See because this is Northwest Glass Supply and we have two broken windows, isn't that ironic?". I laughed again, hadn't noticed that - their signage was just something like "Northwest Supply". Anyway I wished him a nice day and moved on.
Particularly liked the red arrows in the grid on the blouse, to let the observer know which way is up-down, and white for cross town traffic, lol. CY 100/3.5 and a7r. For the sharp-eyed, I left the color in the necklace, prefer it that way.
A young mum warily checking me out. She's very likely seen maybe just a few dozen westerners in her life, this place is very remote. Tibetan women look at you rather than look at you looking at them. Love her leather too and purple - the color of feminism. Their skin must manufacture SPF 1000 in that climate. FE55 (f5.6) and a7r. This is a great lens for what I do.
Some more fun with the new 24-70 GM. Playing with the depth of field and the flowers my wife planted that are just coming up with our warm weather. Oops sorry I wanted you guys to see the full sized detail but apparently this is too large. Is there a specific size you feel best represents detail as well?
