Hard to catch up with the fast moving posts! Great stuff everyone. To our friends in Europe, be safe and be well. Crazy world out there. It's heart breaking to think how some countries in Europe will become in 20 or 30 years with the rapid change in demographic, culture/religion, it's suicidal at a national level. Anyway, I went to Washington DC yesterday morning to take pictures of the famed cherry blossoms there but they weren't quite in full bloom yet. The next few days will be much better as the weather warms up.

Photo taken at 12:26 PM on August 12, 2015 along Limberlost Trail, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. Image cropped and taken with my tripod mounted Leica R 100mm f2.8 Apo-Macro-Elmarit lens and my A7r, ISO 400, lens set to probably f11 for 1/80 second. Exposure corrected by + 0.60 stops and processed in LR6.
Been working from 6:15am this week (good thing I'm an early bird), and luckily days are already getting longer up here in the north. The first shot is taken with Loxia 50 at 2.8, the second one wide open. The last two are both taken with Leica Elmarit 90 wide open.

In the mid 60's, lived in the DC area. The Jefferson memorial is beautiful but not as busy as others. Thanks for the memories and well done!!!!!!
Thank you for your comment! I am heading back to Washington again later today. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom now.
More from my trip to Banff. I reprocessed the first image . . . I found that the image looks better by doing some steps ahead of others including a well placed noise reduction along the way. The rest are more from Two Jack Lake looking toward Mount Rundle.
All taken with the Batis 25/2 except the second; taken with the Rokinon 14/2.8
So excited to see all of these awesome images, I sold an a5100 50/1.8 and got an A7R 55/1.8 yesterday, have only a couple shots so far but I want to finally post here... Because I Can!!
