Photo taken about 56 minutes before sunset (sunset was about 8:21 PM), June 27, 2015 from near the top of Cadillac Mountain overlooking part of Bar Harbor and islands in Frenchman Bay, Mount Desert Island, Acadia NP, Maine. Image taken with my tripod mounted A7r and my Minolta CLE MC 40mm f2 M-Rokkor lens, ISO 100, lens set to probably f11 for 1/160 second. Exposure corrected by +0.24 Stops and processed in LR6.

Gary, I may not envy you AB weather but surely I envy you photo opportunities created by the weather. Winter in Vancouver is like 18% gray card
Do you plan on getting Loxia 21? I was going to trade my SEM21 for Loxia 21 but after reading recent posts I am giving it a second thought.
I have a trip lined up in early April so a very slim chance to even get Loxia and learn/test it against SEM21 before leaving.
Thanks Jack. Most of my recent pics are from NWT - Calgary is snow free with a lot of brown instead of grey. I would love to try out the Loxia 21mm but my 16-35mm is so darn sharp. It is so good, I haven't even bothered to try out my 21SEM on the A7RII yet. I am hopeful that we will see a Batis super wide (16/18mm-ish) but I may be dreaming. In the Rockies, I am shooting very wide most of the time so this FL would come in handy...
Wow! Take off for 4 days and this thread explodes(just like normal, really!!).
Super great pics these last pages! I still need to go back and like more images as well!
Went to Yosemite for the weekend with some friends. Nothing but rain while we were there, then nothing but snow after we left. Just two grabs from "Tunnel View" on Hwy 120 heading into the Valley.

Really like these Gregg. Moody, and the change in view point is refreshing.
I was riding on a dirt road and happened upon this run down house with a black buzzard perched on each chimney. Behind the house was several cars that had obviously been there a while. All taken with Sony A7II. The first and thirds photos were taken with the Tamron SP 35-80. For the second photo I used a Vivitar 135mm.
Fantastic shot Tim. I was there yesterday too, with my Nikon d810+ Nikon 500mm f/4 G VR and my Sony a7 + the FE 70-200 f/4. The pictures below were shot with the Sony combo.
I got to work with a friend today who just bought a new a7RII. We were doing a PP tutorial on my computer and wanted to post here for him to see how the images reproduce on the FM website.
