I never owned the original A7, but I've had the A7 II for the past 8 months, and I can't say I've ever noticed any sensor reflections, and I shoot quite a lot at night. In any case, I like the body of the II series a lot more due to the better grip and better ergonomics. Heavier, though. (Also really like the IBIS).
I owned that original A7r, then A7II and now A7rII. The original A7 series definitely had more sensor reflection that both cameras in the series II. When I first got the A7II, I immediately could see the improvement.
Sorry to hear your woes Helena! I know how you feel. It's been a thing with the Sony's...I know my A7rM is much better in this regard as well. Haven't shot with my Rll @night yet, but I hope to soon. I can say, the IBIS really is awesome!!

A7rll and Canon FD 135/2( the IBIS works great!!)
This and the next are nothing special, just looking @the bokeh and 3D-ness
A few days ago - quite a lot of pages! - I said a macro photo was taken with an 80mm E.ECHO enlarging lens. Someone pointed out there is no such lens. I should have said 75mm E.ECHO lens. Sorry for the mistake.
Nothing to do with the photos, but some people manage to put Exif data in the borders of their pictures. Is there an easy way to do this? I would do it with any images I post if I could work out how to do it.
Only a week ago we had snowy, frosty winter here. Now temperature rises up to 14 deg Celsius and fields are green like in the early spring. Some pictures to remind how it was.
Thank you very much Jordan, Mike, Bob, Gregg and Werner for your input. Very helpful. Werner, that's nice to read. I still want IBIS, but since days are getting brighter it's becoming less urgent. I'll think about it some more and keep an eye on the used market.
Since this is a picture thread; here are a few random shots with FE28:

I'm not overly impressed with the Batis 85 1.8. It's fine, but missing something of the nice 1.4s I've used elsewhere. Any other thoughts?
I used the Sony Zeiss 85mm f/1.4 with LA-EA4 adapter quite a bit and I loved the results. Now, I switched to the Batis mostly to improve the ergonomics/operation of my setup. I didn't compare them side-by-side. So, different circumstances (lighting conditions generate different feel/images but they are both great lenses in that focal length. While I love the images generated by both but the ease/convenience of operation goes to the Batis.

Great shots Gregg !
i agree about IBIS, it's worth alone the upgrade.
Helena, i would not worry to much about the sensor reflection, it does not harm your great shots !
Cheers
Werner
PS: Exif is in the frame with LR Mogrify and Lens Tagger inside LR then exported to Flickr.
Thank you very much, Werner. I'd not come across Mogrify before. I was a bit slow in working it out, but eventually it all clicked. Very easy once it's all set up. The challenge now is to improve what is inside the pictures.
Absolutic...fantastic grabs. Like them all really!
^^^ Gregg, I was going to ask, another 50?
Ha! No...borrowed a buddies(that I actually bought for him) while he has my G45 and CV 21. He's in China at the moment for business.
Missed you Jack...been away?
