Photo taken October 18, 2015, about 8 minutes before sunset, looking from the edge of Big Meadows across Skyline Drive toward Byrd Visitor Center, Shenandoah NP, Virginia. Image taken with my tripod mounted A7r and my Leica M 90mm f2.5 Summarit lens, ISO 100, lens set to f11 for 1/100 second. Processed in LR6.
I photographed even more trees than usual on this trip. Here are two involving maples and epiphytes. Elwha and Hoh valleys, respectively, Olympic Nat'l park.
Canon FD SSC 80-200/4.Nice to operate and decent optically, even at it's weakest point i.e. 200mm,where CA at f4 can be more than average and sharpness fall off towards edges is significant. But stop it down to f8 and all that is gone. Here at f11 and 200mm+A7 used for landscape.
Canon FL 55/1.2 - a joy to use.Here with the A7 at f1.2
Vivitar/Kiron 100/2.8 Macro - the legendary lens.It shows it's age - fringes wo and needs to be stopped down to f5.6 to get good sharpness across the frame. But is still a lens with character, nice colour rendition, interesting oof blurr and very solid built, that I enjoy very much.
René I see your BW images and immediately know it is you. You have a distinctive and fine style with BW. Out of curiosity what program you use to get these images?

Thank you for your valued comments Michael.
The processing is not always the same. Depending on the light and contrast of the output image. Either with Silver Efex or a separate preset in LR.
