Here's one taken with A7r and Leica WATE at 16mm. The extra sky was cropped out into a 16:9 pic.

YIKES! On my new laptop this pic is maybe 4x7 inches - and its like triple the size posted! Sorry bout that! I heard that 15" MacBook Pro with retina display had interface problems with the internet but had no idea it was this severe!

An early morning shot after a cold night in our tent on the slopes of Ruapehu - ice on the ground, and obscenely early - these summer sunrise times are not conducive to a lie-in! CV Ultron 21mm F/1.8 at F/8.
Wow, the recent pages have been really impressive.

Helena you are getting really excellent results with CV 50/1.5
Is that the A7r2?
Thanks! No, I'm still on the old A7. I'd love a second camera and something that has less problems with sensor reflections, but I can't decide if I should buy a cheap A7R now or wait and save up for the A7RII. I'd rather have the II, but who knows how long that will take...
The CV 50/1.5 VM is a nice lens. Sharp wide open both near and far and very flare resistant, which is good since I love shooting into the sun. Typical nice Voigtländer sunstars too. Stopped down sharpness for landscapes is OK, nothing to get excited about, but good enough for me. My Rokkor 58/1.2 is sharper but it's also more than twice as heavy and flares a lot. CV 50 has some field curvature which A7 makes worse, so you need to be careful when focusing to avoid soft corners.
Photo taken the evening of October 26, 2015 about 10 minutes before sunset, in Magic Hour, at the top of the Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA. Image taken with my tripod mounted Canon new FD 500mm f4.5 L lens and my A7r, ISO 400, lens set to f11 for 1/80 second. Processed in LR6.

Overall I'm happy with it and intend to keep it....Show more →
I have the old M39 version and I like it a lot. Very conveniant travel
lens.
Helena: Beautiful winter landscape shots. I hope the snow hasn't melted away completely.
Sebboh: Wonderful colors in those autumn shots with the 85/2.
Werner: Beautiful late autumn shots. I like the mood and lighting in those shots very much.
Charlie: Did you take those elk (?) pictures with your long Nikon MF lens?
Joshua: I'll admit that I usually don't like those kind of "creative shots", but I have to say you created an excellent atmosphere in them. Great work.
Charles: Beautiful beach shots. Took me a few seconds that it's summer in Australia. I guess I visited Melbourne at the wrong time of the year (June).
Jako: As always wonderful color rendition in those street pictures.
Gregg: Amazing hummer pictures with the FD.

^ Don't you just love this lens? I know I do.
Yes. This is one of my first shots with the lens and the camera. I am in the process of selling all of my Nikon gear and moving to Sony. This is the only lens I have right now. I have the 85 on order and I don't know what I want to do in between them yet. I think I am waiting until Zeiss announces what new Batis lenses will be available before I make my decision. I think I want something 35mm and maybe something around 50. I know the Sony/Zeiss 55 1.8 gets a ton of great reviews and I see a lot of great shots.
