FYI, Bobby was my shooting buddy on this trip. This complex is huge and wonderful from photographic point of view, offering tons of photogenic spots for this type of photography. We barely scratched the surface it seemed after shooting for several hours. I realize that this type of photography is not universally appealing. Photo taken at 3:31PM June 10, 2015 of an old Maple tree at the South River Overlook, Shenandoah NP, Virginia. Cow Parsnips ("Heracleum maximum") plants and flowers are on both sides of the tree and Skyline Drive can be seen to the left. Image taken with my tripod mounted A7r and my Minolta CLE MC 40mm f2 M-Rokkor lens, ISO 200, lens set to f11 for 1/100 second. Processed in LR6,
Beautiful as always AGeoJO and I liked Bobby's photos a lot too.
A few more winter shots from CV Nokton 50/1.5, except #2 which is from FE28. Sadly much of the snow has melted already. Really strange winter so far.
