Went to Central Park just before sunset. I've never been to Central Park before, though I've been in New York twice before this trip. Wow...it's just such a gorgeous park. I could spend three weeks photographing in the park and still have so many unexplored vantage points. Beautiful.

Jordan - I grew up in NYC and went to Central Park often as a child. Now I wish I could get back to photograph it. Thanks for bringing up some fond memories!
Here in Minnesota, the weather is about to change from the fabulous autumn we've been enjoying. The wind has kicked up and rain is upon us. So, here's probably the last of the spectacular fall color we've enjoyed the last couple of weeks.

La Réunion, a small French island outside of Africa's east coast. My partner saw a documentary a couple of years ago and have been wanting to go there ever since. I'm more of an "arctic" kind of person , but it was OK. It's always nice to see new places and the locals were very friendly.
Didn't take many photos though (about 160 in 8 days, which I have weeded down to 90), but here are some of a lava field from the big eruption in 2007. It was interesting to see the plant life starting to inhabit the area again. Getting good angles was difficult because walking on the lava was forbidden (but some people did anyway).
This was taken in Aubrey Falls Provincial Park in Northern Ontario, not many spots to get different angles of the falls but a beautiful view non the less.
