Bob, by all means try to get your hands on the 70-400G2, if you are still interested in longer glass. Until Sony comes up with a native mount solution, the big a-mount zoom is the way to go.
Joshua: Excellent portraits with the Batis.
Charles, Werner, greggf, Jako, Philip, Philippe, Michiel and many others whom I forgot, excellent pictures on those last few pages. This thread is not only moving fast, but never ceases to impress in the quality department either.
Here are two more recent, humble shots from me. The first one was the new to me 35 1.4 (Charles, Bob, I blame you guys for convincing me to get this bad boy of a lens). Not sure whether this picture does the lens justice (it's been a while since I've used a f1.4 lens wide open). This shows one small statue at a local fish market.
Due to a thin cloud cover, I couldn't get a fast enough shutter speed to avoid blurring, not to mention loss of detail at the edges. This shot taken early is marginally OK.
Werner...great images. Love the Petzval image. And the "Blutmoon" is awesome!
Chuck...really awesome set as well. I like your collage!
Rene...always love your bw's!
And great images last page!

Going through my blood moon eclipse shots. We were also gifted with an amazing sunset we lucked into. Both with the lovely Beercan, the Minolta 70-210/4.

Contax Carl Zeiss Planar 50/1.7 Back in the forest. This is quite near home but for some reason I have never been on this trail before. It is like a miniature rain forest, very narrow, caught between a mountain and a lake.
