First time out just to photograph (eg non-vacation) since June. These photos have the color profiles created by mdemeyer for the Kolari-modded A7, which are wonderful. I am much happier with this mod now.

Working the 400mm DOii + c1.4TC on the Rii with and without crop mode-
The third picture (close-up) is really impressive. I'm happy to see this combo working for you to produce such great results.
It's an irony that you can use a non-native lens like the DOii with the converter on the a7rii, while Sony has not provided converter support for a-mount glass mounted via LA-EA4.
Ronny, You are the undisputed champion. You even shared the "secret sauce" and it is still a long road to follow to get where you are capable of going. I played with this image for more time than any photo deserves and all I can say is, "You are the master." Great work!
Finally made a quick trip to the mountains with my new camera. I think the A7RII makes a fine landscape setup and the 16-35mm is a superb lens. Learning how to process Sony files will take some time though.
OMG Gary now on the dark side!! Yes the Leica raws spoil a person. Sony is harder but of course these guys show it can be done all the time. I always start in LR with camera calibration. Adobe and Sony don't see to talk much, so JaKo showed me: switch to camera standard or another you like right away. Then work from there.
But sometimes they look OK to me right out of the camera:
Fantastic shots last couple of pages. Philber, the Petit Trianon shots bring back memories of when I was there 30 years ago while staying with a family that lives in Versailles. I have seen the main palace several times since but not the Trianon. Thank you for the souvenirs.
More from Venice. ZE 2.8/21 and ZE 1.4/35 (BW)
