Here's a straight image and two different posts. The first is almost SOOC with just minor WB, sharpening, contrast. The second is B&W through NIK Efex Pro and the last is processed with Analog Efex Pro 2
Gregg, seems you remained electrocuted by this lens
indeed, also with the VM-E adapter, it has a nice transition from focused to blurred and bokeh is pleasant... almost as my FE 90 Macro
A couple of examples, just for test the lens... very smooth bokeh and great detail for the focused areas.

Wow, I like the Analog Efex Pro 2 processing. Nice colours that somehow seem to fit the subject... rendering seems to destroy the Batis though
Great photos on the last pages. Special mention in this case for Rene's Louvre impressions, Jako's blue (also efex?!) as well as all the wide open ZM35 shots (Gregg) which are really showing the lens' capabilities. Stupid question perhaps (given earlier discussions) but do wide open ZM35 shots need colour aberration treatment in post?
Some wide opens with a slightly older lens that surely requires CA correction in post...
Great images everyone! Renee, your B&W conversion is something else. I keep coming back to this thread everyday to learn. Here are two shots with the A7 and the lowly Sony FE 24-70 f/4.

Yes,Manuel, I REALLY like this lens To be honest, I think with just this ZM 35 1.4 and my Lux M 50 I could conceivably shoot with nothing else!!

This lens was meant to be shot WO Although, as Jack has noted, it's also exceptional stopped down too! It's a Zeiss lens, and they all tend to have some CA regardless. Nothing a few sliders can't fix, really.
Gregg
A7rM and ZM 35 1.4 in BW
I missed focus??? @f1.4But you can still see the goodness in the lens' rendering
Mike and Gregg - love the f1.4 shots. That CY really holds up well against the newer lenses to my eye.
As for me I can't keep my hands off this heavy, slow 24-240 FE. This lens never heard of all these apertures below 3.5 and more often than not it is wide open at f6.3. Someday I am going to get a fast 35mm but the choices are many and make the decision hard.
I got interested in watching these seagulls last night. I know they are not the best looking birds but at least they stand still. this is a closed-down lighthouse station which now runs with automation.

Interresting that you should write this, Gregg. At this time, I have nothing in my bag other than my ZM 35 f:1.4 and Otus 55. Only because I need more reach
