dat rim light

edit - the fact that the DF actually focused on her is quite impressive to me. My last two DF's wouldn't have done that

Pfff. Any camera can focus on the spot where the highlight meets the shadow, even the crappy DF

And get such good tones in low light? He can probably recover up to 3 stops and the image will look clean. Better than a d4S

I love the foreground swirly. I don't think I've ever seen hat before. Gives me ideas!

Gelled my OCF, adjusted WB, came out pretty cool with a blue background. Please don’t kill me for 2.2

One of the other nicer characteristics of this lens is that it has great isolation where the subjects (probably stronger in the middle) do not look to be just a part of the bokeh.

I'm really glad this DF meshed perfectly with the 58 since the 58 is by far my most used lens.

This gent was strolling around a botanical gardens dressed in shorts pants, riding boots, and riding crop--he was dressed to the nines and played the part. Other photographers were interested in his attire, I grabbed a shot of his face. Forgot to include data: D4s, 58 1.4, shot at 1.4, ISO 200 @ 8000.

Honestly I didn't. I'm telling you, LR handled D4 files like crap. Every single slider and profile in the develop tab is identical to my D4 settings.
