Df rocks. You change your workflow? Images have nicer pop and sharpness
Nope; copied all the LR settings over from the D4. LR really handles the D4 like garbage.
This is my third DF, first was a dud, second was the dud's replacement. This copy is far and above the best with AF. It says volumes that I'm saying this AFTER having the D4.
DANG I haven’t been shooting with 58G in MONTHS! This cold weather is killing me!
Nevertheless, newest addition to the family: DEWALT 1/2-Inch Impact driver with Detent Pin. I’m surprised there were no 1/2’s at local stores (Home Depot, Sears, Lowes, etc) All they sell is the 1/4 impact drivers. Had to order this online... Amazing tool.
Not trying to be a dick, but what's the point of buying a 1/2" impact if it's grossly underpowered (relative to 1/2" impacts)? It's not like you're going to sheer 3/8" adapters with 150ft/lbs.
It's not underpowered. For the type of work I need it for, it's got more than enough power. A 1/4" drive isn't good for applying the torque needed to remove something like wheel fasteners.
I was just curious since I'd never seen one of the little impacts in 1/2"; figured none of 'em had enough guts to justify 1/2".
I have a 350ft-lb 1/2" 20v impact, but I won't lie, I have a few stacks of 1/4" to 1/2" adapters for my little impacts just because they're so light and small. Worst that happens is I sheer a $2 adapter.
Jason, it is "shear" and the 1/2" battery impacts are great for wheel work on cars (I have a very similar Craftsman C3). Not for hard-core stuff, but a lot more convenient.
You've got your daughter well-trained - wish my kids ignored the guy with the camera as much as yours does...
