Having a small issue with MacOS, which seems not to be respecting image colour profiles...
Lightroom, Photoshop and Firefox seem fine, but Safari and the rest of MacOS seems to crush the blacks a bit.
The third image should show a little texture in the wall and paving
Looks exactly like the OS is applying monitor color onto every image.

the 58's character is better displayed on full frame. outer edges of the frame get cropped out by the aps-c sensor.

Over time I've tried two other 58Gs, and they all were pretty much exactly like mine... I've had my fair share of 50mm lenses, but I don't get the where the "sub-par" and the hate comes from.
