I really need to post some of the images from recent weddings in here. I've used the 58 almost exclusively for the past 4 weddings, alongside my 85 1.4g. Truly remarkable lens.
You guys, need to stop posting images and remove this thread! I own the sigma 50 1.4 art, like the ultimate sharpness but I am a sucker for creamy bokeh! I already own the 85 1.4g and 200 f2. For landscape step down to f8, is it pretty good? focus to infinity?

You'll find similarities with the 200f2 and the 58G in terms of creamy bokeh and believe it or not sharpness wide open at certain distances. So if you love the 200f2 not just for it being a sharpness tele the 58G can draw in a very similar fashion in a much smaller package. Btw I have both the 85G 1.4 and 200f2. The 85 almost never leaves the house anymore and the 200f2 will come out only for special occasions. another lens that draws like the 58 Is old school/Nikkor 58 f1.2.

You guys just wait until spring hits the northeast and Elijah and I come out of hibernation
Hurry the hell up. Man I wish Ca has the landscapes you guys have at your backyards. Gotta drive way too much out here. And when you get there it's flooded with too much wildlife (crazy Cali people )
Hibernation is almost over, that's right!! WTH... I want to live in Cali and you are jealous of my crib? Pfff. Prepare for some bokaaahlicious war! This thread will stay on top of the Nikon forum, allday, errday!

Live in Cali? Bring a good supply of water and money. Hell, I regret not leaving here years ago. High taxes, overcrowding, high energy costs, and outrages traffic. But, my regret is tempered by the great weather and the ocean.
