I'm back and these rock big time Greg. The macaws are to die for...sort of like a zebra
These are stunning shots to which I have nothing even remotely comparable.
Simply awesome!
Eric
Welcome back, Eric; I can't wait to see more Botswana images, especially zebras (alive or not)!
Love the rare views of the Hyacinth pair. Tough to see anywhere and in their own space is lovely. Fine job on all the Ibis(s)! The BCD is a beauty of a gem. Love the ear feathers too!

Excellent job capturing and editing these, Greg! You got some beautiful subjects captured with some pleasant color tones and fine detail
My personal preferences are the first two and the last one, as I find kind of distracting the OOF birds in the bg of the 3rd and 4th image.
Really enjoyed seeing these. TFS.
Socrate
Thanks, Socrate; I really appreciate your feedback and impressions. I kind of thought #3 and #4 would appeal to some but not others; I love getting more than a single subject in the image, but then it's always a challenge of how to deal with the focal plane.
From start to finish this set is a bar setter, you really out did yourself. The techs rock, the comps rock, I have nothing but praise for this set my friend
Tim
Thanks so much, Tim, all the more so since you managed to jump right back into FM with gusto (and a pretty amazing Lycaon image). Look forward to seeing more images and comments from you as the holidays approach and the PNW days get short!

Wow Greg, these are all excellent.
Superb capture of the Macaws, love the symmetry, color, and composition.
Terrific processing work on the Ibis images, very well done, and again some very cool compositions.
Beautiful light, color, and detail in the last... exquisite.
Excellent work Greg, you should be very proud of these.
Kirk
Appreciate it, Kirk, especially coming from someone who consistently finds great light, color, and composition at "the pond"!
