Love the rare views of the Hyacinth pair. Tough to see anywhere and in their own space is lovely. Fine job on all the Ibis(s)! The BCD is a beauty of a gem. Love the ear feathers too!

Appreciate it, Brian. I had not appreciated that this species (Hyacinth Macaws) was endangered until I read a bit more...this pair has a nesting box next door to a Jabiru nest at the southwild lodge. They're a bit skittish; I caught them on the way back to the box.

Greg,
The Macaws are amazing. You are not giving yourself the credit due when you describe them as slow flyers. I have photographed flying scarlet Macaws and keeping them in frame w/ 700mm is no easy task!

Excellent work!

Thanks, Bruce! I have struggled, unsuccessfully, to shoot scarlet Macaws. But that's just another reason to head back to Costa Rica and try again!
