True - FD 80-200 F4L is razor sharp at all apertures, even wide open...

Really nice--I just picked up a copy of the FDn 100/2 as well and I'm loving the lens. It's really sharp wide open, sanders beautifully, and has really lovely, smooth bokeh. I can't post pictures here, but I'm glad to see someone else using this really fine lens.
