I was thinking how much I'd like a venison taco, but those soulful eyes made me feel so guilty I decided to settle for a peanut butter sammich. That FD 500L looks like a winner.

For those who don't mind manual focus it's a great choice. I typically correct for lateral chromatic aberration in ACR, after that the image quality is quite good.

The more I see from this lens, the more I like it. Sort of hard to justify since I have an EF400, but I'm really trying hard to talk myself into it.
