Inspired by the beautiful pictures in this forum, I opted to adapt Canon FD, namely the TS 35mm 2.8 and the 80-200 4.0 L, on my A7. Despite being sure that especially with the TS, I am just beginning to explore the lense's possibilities and limitations, I've already had a blast trying it out on my first holiday hike

The Canon FD has a shorter flange distance than the EF (42mm vs 44mm) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flange_focal_distance
So there is no way to use an adapter between an FD lens and EF body and still get infinity without a quality sucking glass element. The way to do it is to either replace the rear mount with an Ed Mika, or send the lens to someone for modification.

Image taken with my tripod mounted Canon new FD 500mm f4.5 L lens and my A7r, ISO 400, lens set to f11 for 1/80 second. Processed in LR6.
It has some lateral chromatic aberration, entirely fixable with Photoshop.
