I was out yesterday sitting in my yard, I took some shots with my FD 500/4.5 using a Fuji X-E2 camera.
Humming bird
Nothing like a good neck scratch
These guys have been a great source of amusement in particular this year.
And finally, it always amazes me how much detail a digital camera can record. This is about an 85%-90% crop shot at 70 feet(21meters) (CORRECTION: I was thinking the wrong tree, I checked today, it was 50 feet distance ,15 Meters for you metric types) according to the distance marker on the lens barrel. And even at that much magnification you can still make out(even at this small size) a passing mosquito just under the birds beak.

I like the color & softness of the light in your shot Shuko. The transition to out of focus is so pleasing as well....I so need a FD85L
Yellow finch with Canon FD 50mm f1.4. This little guy knocked himself out on glass window, so I was able to take a shot of him before he flew off again.

Nice shot, and good to hear that it got back airborne...
