Just picked up a totally mint nFD 400mm f/4.5. Very crisp stopped down to f/5.6. It's amazing how cheap these are... This is an actual pixel crop:

Great shot. I am planning to buy one Canon FD tele lens around 200m to 400m or so.

By the way. How do you enter lens info under your photos in flickr? Or do you do it in lightroom somehow?

Thanks! It seems the FD 300 f/4 L and 400mm f/4.5 are both quite nice. I also have the FD 80-200 f/4 L and it's also an outstanding lens...

I tag my shots in Lightroom using this excellent plugin:

LENSTAGGER

It's a bit quirky, but is really helpful once you figure it out and store your lenses...
