I currently have One Hundred fifty one thousand eight hundred and forty two images of Kingfishers or somewhere around there
So I’m really not sure why I continue to shoot these guys, but I do. For some reason I am fascinated by them and look forward to each
Spring when they make there return. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoy taking them.
A fine set Christopher. I think it's the quest for that one truly defining capture and elevating it to perfection that keeps us going in the case of birds.

Just amazing shots. I rarely get even a chance to shoot these. They are around but so hard to find a spot to shoot them from. I would keep shooting them also if I had your location no matter how many shots I had already. For me it is like my eagle shots, I have thousands and thousands but continue to shoot them.
Hard to pick a winner out of this set. The first is amazing clarity and stunning background. I love the 3rd with the bright orange fish. The 5th is amazing also. The last is some cool action. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome shots. I am also fascinated by these super fast little birds. I just wish I could get lucky to find some sitting still where I could get a shot thanks for haring.
