Visited Valley of Fire (NV), White Pocket and S Coyote Buttes and Zion about a week ago. Still sorting through images. Did some fooling around with a 10-stop ND filter with decent results but still learning when and how to use this thing.

Beautifully executed photos with 10 stop filter.
How did you manage the color cast?
I love all three shots.
The color cast in river closeup shot is still somewhat of a mystery. It is possibly due to the strong reflected light off the canyon walls combined with some turbidity, due to sand, in the river. Then again possibly I forgot to cover the viewfinder and there was some light leakage during the long exposure??
#1 has it all, color, texture, motion and layering of elements I really like this a lot. I know it is the angle you took the shot to the river but I wonder if some leveling of the river bank may help the feel in this shot.
#2 would have to be one of my favorites for water motion. Metallic liquid wonderful! Love the mix of boulder and water here.
#3 Again. love the layers here and magical hues, sweet!
I already leveled # 1 as much I could without tilting the trees too much
Thanks much buddy
