pretty cool set, really love the magic in that third one, which also seems most likely to be how you might see it in person of all of them too by far (others are nice but looking sort of half photography and half cgi rendering, although cool), third one is magic

I think with single untracked images of the milky way, the noise becomes amplified in the process of bringing out the milky way thereby creating a bright and 'crunchy' feel. Guess I'm a milky way junky as I haven't tired of these yet.
I do think the one of the lake stands out on its own merits as a wonderfully composed and colorful image. Great job with all.
I got lucky with the sunrise photo of Wizard Island. I had to rely on the photographer's ephemeris on my iphone to find the right spot for the Sun to rise above the island dead center at the top. It was sacked in with fog and only lifted for a few seconds which would not have allowed for any changes in position.
I would like to get some shots from the east side of the lake too, but the road was closed when I was there. There also might be a bit too much light pollution at night coming from the west.
