Hi Ron, I don't recall what I did on this specific photo. I'll try to take a look at Lightroom and see what if any tweaks I made. In general, I do minimal tweaks to photos in Lightroom only. Most often exposure, shadows, highlights, maybe some contrast slider adjustments. Sometimes I add vignetting. I'm in front of a computer much of the day and enjoy shooting much more than post processing.
I like the JPEG engine on the GH4 much more than on previous Panasonic cameras (like the GH2's - yuck!). So I'll go with the JPEG much of the time. Typically I touch the raw only for more radical changes in exposure, curves, or white balance. And often I feel the out of camera raw provides a flatter, more natural look that I prefer over the JPEG.
On the Nocticron - I haven't shot much with it, but I like the color of the lens as is, and I must say I really, really like the results from simple b&w conversion in Lightroom. I find I make fewer changes to b&w conversions with the Nocticron than with other m4/3 lenses. I usually add contrast but haven't had to do as much of this with the Nocticron.
The PL25 has long been my favorite and most used lens by far on m4/3, and the Nocticron seems a contender to join the club!

Though here are a few snaps of an interesting old roof I had time to take pics of while my daughter sleep in her stroller for an hour yesterday... and one more of my daughter post-nap on the beach... all with GH4 with PL 15/1.7

Took the GX7, 8/3.5, 20/1.7, 42.5/1.2, and 75/1.8 to the beach at Lake Wenatchee last week.
Excellent setup for this - more than pleased with the performance of the GX7, 42.5/1.2 and 75/1.8 which were used the most.
The GX7 + fast primes are quickly becoming my preferred digital gear (over my D800 and A7R) for candid family shots due to the excellent and quick AF.
It was hot so there was lots of ice cream to be eaten!
Love that first shot in particular John! That 42.5/1.2 has some magic in it. I have both 75 and Nocticron but am considering selling the the 75. Do you feel both have a place in your kit? I'm thinking Nocticron and 35-100 for tele.

Personally I like having ~2x focal length ratios in my primes, otherwise I find them too close.
I happily get along with the 75 and 42.5. I've not been impressed with the 35-100/2.8 (at least the one copy I tried at Glazers).
I'm looking forward to the Pany 150/2.8 . . . . though I need to sell some gear to afford one.
