Jötunheimr or the Land of Giants (Rocks and Frost)
In Norse mythology, Jötunheimr (or Jǫtunheimr; often anglicized Jotunheim) is one of the Nine Worlds and the homeland (heim 'home') of the Giants of Norse Mythology — Rock Giants and Frost Giants.
Made famous by the first movie of THOR. The area in Jökulsárlón for me resembles the place. This shot is of difficulty since composition was quite hard. Submerged in water, I opted to use the space between the two ice rocks as my anchor point to the visual path.
The colors makes good contrast of this land of ICE and FIRE.
Thanks for the comment. What do you mean 2 smoles?
I believe he was trying to say "smokes". Beautiful shots Edwin! I always wonder how the ice seems sharp in these shots? Aren't they kind of floating around and moving in the long exposures?

Mathew,
Thanks. Yeah I had 7 composition here before the light disappeared, I really wanted a long exposure of the glacier lagoon and I waded to thigh deep freezing waters to get the shots. Wind is always a factor and waited for the wind to stop a bit.
For this spot I took about 5 shots and all the four I had ice moving.
