I'm having problems downrezzing my 645Z files properly, always feel like I'm throwing details away. I once used a PS action developed by a few members here on FM to downsize pictures from Canon 5DII, but those settings don't work well anymore despite my attempts at modifying it to suit the much larger files from the 645Z. Do you guys have a special downsizing workflow?
I think the downsizing problem has a lot to do with the monitor your using and different way browsers and websites display images can make a difference. I upload 3000 wide pixel images to flickr then I pick the lower res image for posting and it seems to come out better then if I just downsize to 1200 or 1600 wide on my iMac with retina in photoshop. Your picture above looks sharp enough on my display. I know the retina display in photoshop uses twice the pixels so it looks sharper but then post it online and its different size and blury looking.

Hi, Kristjan, Thanks for your comment. I always have the down size problem because I never do the step down size other than simply load full resolution to Flickr and let flickr handle the size (in this case 1600 in longest eade). I don't do that mainly it requires extra step in my flaw and I don't upload different size file for the same image as I like to keep full resolution file in flickr as a backup. I understand the file will never look as impressive as I saw on my 5K retina which is quite frustrating actually (huge difference from what I see and what I can display here.) And using web browser to see images here with Retina imac, it looks worse, worse than regular display or iphone. I haven't figure out a solution yet.
As for these images, I think Lens need take the credit. The 180S indeed are sharp and smooth. The other lens I see with similar rendering is contax 120 APO. I don't have experience with 120 S leica though. 135 Zeiss APO is as great but with a little more contrast I feel, so less smooth.
This one might be my favorite Lens ever. The experience of look out of bright OPTICAL view finder with this one is a pure joy. I don't know how to describe that feeling in word. Some lens feel just different. Is that because of APO? Focusing feel (build quality) is really absolutely the best, better than any R and Zeiss ZF I have.
