I am one week back from a 5 week European trip to see family mostly. Still sorting through images. I carried a Leica M9 and my P645D, choosing not to carry my only AF lens (FA45-85), but the A75, A35, P67 55 f4 SMC and P67 200 f4 SMC. I was happy with my MF lens selection.
A couple of quick ones, both with the A75 f2.8, the latter heavily cropped!

9 year old helping her family... I asked her if I could take a picture she said, "You buy, then take picture". She's a good salesperson. No one else required me to buy before taking pictures. Although they had really nice thing we did some shopping.

Taxi anyone? I fell in love with the Elephants there. Although they use them for tours in the jungles, they are well fed and taken care of, showered daily and not overworked. This was one of the highlights of our trip, riding on these beautiful creatures.
The happiest people I met were in Thailand, no wonder they call it The Land of Smiles.

I bought a Voigtlander VM 35 f1.2 v1 lens yesterday in a camera dealers specialising in Nikon and Leica.
I also handled a Leica S (type 006?) with a 30-90 zoom lens. The seller of those was the same consignment seller of the Nokton, since he wanted to generate funds for a new Leica SL. I have to say that the Leica S felt absolutely sublime to handle and the build quality, tactility and styling were fabulous.
The price of the S was only A$4000, but A$6600 for the zoom (although another lens was available at A$2200). Even though I have a P645D and my next logical big jump will be to a 645Z, I envied the feel and ergonomics of the Leica S, while knowing that my 645D was every bit as good in terms of its sensor.
